Fulton, KY may be a small town but its leaders have big ideas about how the U.S. government is spending citizens' money. Wasted America is a new web series created by Ron Wall, and backed by concerned citizens. Hosted by Brendan Higgins and the Capitol Hill Heroines, Wasted America employs animation, music and satirical sketches to "infotain" you like crazy. The goal of the show is to raise awareness about government waste, fraud and abuse of a Congressional Weapon of Mass Corruption - the EARMARK.

This series of webisodes encourages you to take action by voting online or even participating in our shaming events (picture the first flash mob as our talented group of dancers busts a move at your congressperson's local office).  Each surprise event or flash mob we perform will be directed at the politicians who spend our taxes for their personal gain. Wasted America is empowering people across the nation - from Small Town America to major metropolitan areas - to take action.

We are building a grassroots organization with a robust infrastructure made up of volunteers, watchdog groups - and you - the active viewer. We have united to deliver significant change in Washington, D.C.

WHAT WE DO

Have we lost our minds? Yes. Watching all that money being wasted without shame has made us crazy. But instead of checking into a loony bin, we've decided to take action.

We can restore fiscal accountability in Washington. It's not impossible. Politicians are making spending decisions with little regard to the long-term consequences for us. People are fed up with business as usual in Washington, D.C.

At Wasted America, we want to Entertain, Educate and Activate every American. It's time to strip away the political “spin” and shine a light on the real process. We believe America is ready to laugh - and take action. The show is the vehicle that will allow your voice to be heard.

Channeling America's anger into tangible results is our primary objective. We want politicians to understand the impact of their decisions. Through our combined actions, we can make them realize how many of us demand substantive change!
